TIFT ranked 1167th among 1,183 universities globally and secured 39th place among 41 universities in Uzbekistan. It is the only private university in the country to participate in this ranking, demonstrating a strong commitment to eco-friendly infrastructure and sustainable practices.

WAITRO Membership
As of April 3, 2024, TIFT became a full member of the World Association of Industrial and Technological Research Organizations (WAITRO). This membership aligns the university with global initiatives in science, technology, and innovation, fostering solutions to critical challenges and supporting the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence
In November 2024, TIFT became a full member of IREG Observatory, a prestigious organization promoting transparency and excellence in academic rankings. TIFT is one of only five universities in Uzbekistan—and the only private institution—to achieve this status.
